President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the progress of construction works in the Namangan culture and recreation park.

In the park, which occupies 110 hectares, it is planned to build open and indoor swimming pools, a small stadium, an ice palace, a four-star hotel, attractions, a fairytale town, shopping outlets, a library and an Internet cafe, a bowling alley and a fitness club, a crafts center, an amphitheater, a water park and other objects. Will be planted ornamental trees and flowers, created a botanical garden.

It is planned that this entertainment complex will serve 100,000 visitors a year. Commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019. Today, construction work is actively conducted here.

Mirziyoyev gave recommendations on the quality and safety of work. He suggested to name the park as the Afson Park.

The presentation of such projects as the construction of Namangan City on Guliston massif of the city of Namangan, the construction of a modern shopping complex and the eco-park in Pap district were also presented to the Uzbek leader.
