In accordance with the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures for the root reforming of the national system of provision of public services to the population” from 12 December 2017, the Ministry of Justice organized the State Services Agency with centers in cities and districts.
Earlier, one-stop-shop centers provided services to entrepreneurs, new centers render services to individuals as well. The implementation of their activities in one place with the People’s Reception helps to solve the problems of citizens on the spot, provide prompt, convenient and transparent services to individuals and legal entities.
Public services center in Namangan provide services to 800 applicants a day. The center provides 60 types of services.
In the building of the center there are also the People’s Reception, the departments of the Registry Office, the registration of citizenship, insurance, cadastre, replacement of driving licenses, emergency medical care, a bank branch. There is a medical center, a children’s playground, a dining room.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with conditions created in the center, asked about the types of services provided to the population and entrepreneurs, quality and efficiency of the work. He watched the work of the electronic queue system, process of replacing the driver’s license.
During conversation with the staff of the institution, it was noted the need to further expand the list of services, increase the level of the population’s use of Internet services.
The most important goal of this system is to alleviate the concerns of people. Covering all the regions and services with this system, we will put an end to red tape, injustice, corruption, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
The head of state also got acquainted with the regional department of the Scientific and Practical Research Center "Oila" and the Namangan Innovation Center operating in this building.
