A concert program of art masters of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was presented at Khorezm Regional Drama Theater in the city of Urgench. 

Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the concert. 

Cultural and humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are developing consistently. Joint concerts, festivals and exhibitions are organized, representatives of the two countries actively participate in various competitions. In November 2016, days of culture of Turkmenistan were held in our country, and in November 2017, Days of culture of Uzbekistan were held in Turkmenistan.

All conditions have been created for Uzbek and Turkmen diasporas to preserve and develop their languages, traditions and culture.

Songs in Uzbek and Turkmen languages were performed at concert. Event was another embodiment of centuries-old friendship and cultural affinity of our peoples, a good opportunity to join the classical and contemporary art of the two countries.
