President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Artificial Intelligence Center in Balykchi district.

The center was established by Akademiya IT Star in accordance with the Presidential resolution dated February 26, 2024, aimed at developing exports of digital services.

Information technology is becoming one of the most sought-after fields among young people. Therefore, it is important to expand opportunities in the regions for acquiring modern IT skills, developing practical skills and creating competitive software products.

The 15-billion-soum project has created 100 jobs.

The center enables young people from villages and districts to acquire modern skills and professions without having to travel far from home. They receive training in marketing, programming and robotics and apply the knowledge they gain to practical projects.

Local entrepreneurs also make effective use of the center’s capabilities. They receive IT services and consultations on developing their businesses using artificial intelligence. To date, the center has provided services worth 8.5 billion soums to more than 500 businesses.

Currently, the region’s 65,000 businesses require more than 129,000 specialists, including SMM managers, mobile content creators, graphic designers, marketers, data analysts and artificial intelligence specialists. The center’s educational programs are designed to meet this demand.

The Head of State closely examined the startups developed by young people and praised their knowledge and intellectual potential. During a warm conversation, the young men and women shared new initiatives and proposals for further developing the startup ecosystem in the country.
