At the invitation of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan from July 30 to August 1.
During the high-level talks, the two leaders will discuss further strengthening the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership, increasing mutual trade, expanding industrial cooperation, developing transport connectivity, and expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The heads of state will also exchange views on current regional and international issues.
Following the summit, a package of bilateral documents aimed at further advancing the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is expected to be signed.
In accordance with the visit program, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is also scheduled to participate in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, as well as other events.
