President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Saint Petersburg on a working visit.
At Pulkovo International Airport, the distinguished guest was welcomed by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov, and other officials.
As part of the visit program, the President of Uzbekistan will hold a meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and will also take part in a ceremony marking the start of construction of the first reactor of an integrated nuclear power plant in Uzbekistan.
On June 5, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to participate in the main events of the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
