President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed construction projects across various sectors.

The Head of State was presented with a project for the installation of a majestic monument to the outstanding statesman, military commander, and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur as part of an architectural ensemble being developed in the city of Babur in the Andijan region.

To preserve the memory of our great ancestor and pass on to future generations his rich scientific and literary heritage, ideas of statehood, and invaluable contribution to world civilization, particular attention is being paid to the monument’s symbolic meaning and artistic design.

The President was shown sketches of the future monument, its compositional solutions, and the scientific and artistic approaches to creating Babur’s image. As noted, the portrayal of the great historical figure is being developed on the basis of an in-depth study of numerous historical sources, manuscripts, miniatures, and cultural heritage materials, as well as research conducted by domestic scholars in cooperation with foreign experts.

In addition, during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, one of the parks in Islamabad was named in honor of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. A project for the installation of a monument to the great ancestor in the park was also reviewed.

The Head of State emphasized that the monuments should fully reflect the image of ZahiriddinMuhammad Babur not only as a great writer and poet, but also as a talented military commander, the founder of a powerful state, and a wise ruler. It was noted that his strength of character, statesmanship, high spirituality, and creative legacy should be clearly reflected in the overall artistic appearance of the monuments.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was also presented with information on projects being developed to strengthen the material and technical base of the Abu Rayhan Beruni International Boarding School, enhance tourism and transport infrastructure in Bukhara, and modernize cultural centers in the districts.

The Head of State gave instructions for the further refinement of the projects and emphasized the importance of their thorough preparation in line with best practices.
