President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was briefed on efforts to train young people in modern professions and foreign languages at Technical College No. 1 in the Quva district.
Today, the competitiveness of countries is determined not only by natural resources, but also by human capital, the knowledge and potential of specialists in modern professions. In this regard, special attention is paid in Uzbekistan to reforming the vocational education system, particularly to transforming regional technical colleges into centers of practical knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The activities of the technical college in the Quva district serve as a practical embodiment of these reforms.
Centers for training in modern professions and supporting startups have been established at the college.
Along with teaching German and Chinese in cooperation with foreign educational institutions, the college also trains specialists in modern fields such as logistics, agricultural drone operation, smart irrigation, and the installation and maintenance of solar panels.
A dual education system has been implemented, under which 550 students receive theoretical knowledge closely integrated with practical training.
The startup center plays an important role in supporting the entrepreneurial initiatives of young people. Training courses are offered in in-demand fields, including robotics, SMM, mobilography, and design.
As part of the project, 200 new jobs will be created, with plans to implement this experience in 10 other agricultural technical colleges across the country.
The President spoke with students mastering these professions and wished them success in their studies and future endeavors.
