Modern construction materials complex opened in Tashkent

23.04.2026

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new “Pavilion” shopping complex, built in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent.

In recent years, the construction materials industry has been developing rapidly in Uzbekistan. Along with the expansion of production, special attention is being paid to the development of modern trade and service infrastructure.

The “Pavilion” complex is a practical embodiment of this approach. A total of 25 million dollars was invested in the project, located on a 4.6-hectare site with a total construction area of 42 thousand square meters and parking for 1,000 cars.

The three-story complex houses shops, wide aisles, open public spaces, and all the necessary conditions for comfortable customer service. Importantly, a new format for trading construction materials is being introduced here — orderly, modern, and convenient for buyers.

Another important result of the project is the creation of 2,000 jobs.

The Head of State was briefed on the complex’s activities and capabilities. The President also reviewed the construction materials stores.

It was noted that the complex’s 500 retail outlets will offer a wide range of goods for construction and renovation. Information on product availability and prices will be available on a single electronic platform, ensuring transparency in trade and creating additional convenience for both entrepreneurs and customers.

The complex is designed to serve up to 3 million visitors a year.

Special attention has been paid to security: the entire territory is covered by a video surveillance system that includes 500 modern cameras.

The President emphasized that this facility should become not just a major trading platform, but a modern space that sets new standards of quality, service, and trade culture in the construction materials market.

Recalling that Tashkent historically had twelve gates, the Head of State noted the need to create similar modern shopping centers around the capital, each specializing in different areas.

“The living standards of our people are rising, along with their expectations. It is essential to more widely promote national products in such retail outlets, more actively involve local producers, and effectively develop logistics,” said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
