As part of the state visit of the President of Tajikistan, a ceremony was held to inaugurate the new embassy building in Tashkent.
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon cut the symbolic ribbon and officially opened the diplomatic mission.
The leaders toured the complex, which includes administrative buildings for the embassy and consular section, the ambassador’s residence, and residential facilities for diplomats and their families.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Presidents left entries in the Book of Honored Guests and planted trees on the embassy grounds.
The event reaffirmed the mutual commitment to further strengthening Uzbek–Tajik relations of friendship, good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance.
