The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkey has concluded.
In Ankara, talks were held with the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as well as the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, co-chaired by the two heads of state.
Following the negotiations, a signing ceremony was held for a substantial package of bilateral documents.
In statements to the media, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Türkiye commented on the outcomes of the negotiations.
The heads of state then took part in a ceremony marking the commissioning of the "Uzbekistan" residential complex, built by the Uzbek side in Hatay Province, as well as the launch of construction of an Uzbek school in Istanbul.
Upon the conclusion of the visit program, the President of Uzbekistan, together with his spouse departed for Tashkent. At Esenboğa International Airport, the distinguished guests were seen off by Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz and other officials.
