On November 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Minister of transport of the French Republic Philippe Tabarot, who’s arrived in the city of Tashkent to participate in the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor Investors Forum.
In the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest passed to the Head of our state warm greetings and sincere wishes of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
Issues of further strengthening relations of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and France have been reviewed, primarily in transport and logistics sphere, in the context of agreements reached during the high-level visit to Paris in March this year.
Special attention has been paid to expanding cooperation in the sphere of civil aviation, preparing quality specialists in the sphere of transport, including through the recently established Uzbek-French University.
