At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is currently in our country with a state visit.
Today, on August 26, the main events of the visit started with an official meeting ceremony for the head of Jordan in the city of Samarkand.
A guard of honor was lined up at the square in front of the Congress-center building. President of Uzbekistan warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.
The military orchestra performed the state anthems of the two countries.
The President of Uzbekistan and the King of Jordan walked past the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegation.
