King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan together with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the “Eternal City” historical and ethnographic park in the international tourist center of Samarkand.
The distinguished guest viewed exhibitions showcasing the rich cultural heritage of our people, crafts and applied arts. A program of dance groups was presented.
The complex brings together the main symbols of antiquity and reproduces recognizable details of the landmarks of Uzbekistan's historic cities. Along with national traditions, the history of international diplomacy is also reflected here.
This combination of meaning, history and modernity made a great impression on the guests.
The main events of the Uzbek-Jordanian summit, including high-level talks, will take place tomorrow, on August 26.
