At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in our country on August 25 with a state visit.
At the airport of the city of Samarkand, the King of Jordan was met by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In honor of the distinguished guest, the national flags of both countries were raised and a guard of honor was formed.
A solemn ceremony was held with performances of national songs and dances.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for tomorrow. Today, the heads of state will visit the sights of ancient Samarkand together.
