In the framework of the UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, the heads of state took part in events dedicated to the national days of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan.
The national days are organized with an aim to showcase a rich cultural heritage of the people of the region’s countries, strengthening neighborly ties and expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
National pavilions were presented, featuring exhibitions of traditions, handicrafts and modern achievements in culture, art and tourism. Gastronomic presentations and culinary master classes were also organized.
Uzbekistan's pavilion, designed as a traditional Uzbek courtyard “hovli” with national elements – left vivid impressions on visitors.
The event became another example of regional identity and cultural diversity, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding and shaping a positive perception of Central Asia as a space of peace, stability and prosperity.
With this, the program of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan concluded.
At the Turkmenbashi airport, the distinguished guest was seen off by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Head of our state departed for Tashkent.
