In the framework of the events of the third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a solemn ceremony of awarding the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with Turkmenistan’s state order “For contribution to the development of cooperation”, was held.
The Head of our state expressed deep gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and brotherly Turkmen people for the high state award.
- I consider this award as a symbol of special attention and respect to Uzbekistan and its multinational people, recognition of our common efforts in strengthening relations of friendship, good neighborliness, mutual trust and partnership in the Central Asian region, – emphasized the Head of our state.
The highest level of Uzbek-Turkmen relations of strategic partnership, based on rich historical experience, traditions of brotherhood and mutual respect, was noted with satisfaction.
In recent years, important economic and humanitarian projects have been implemented, the volume of mutual trade and the scale of cooperation have grown significantly.
The leader of Uzbekistan separately emphasized the contribution of Arkadag and all the heads of state of the region in promoting cooperation in Central Asia. It was stressed that today the entire international community recognizes the shared success in building a new model of regional partnership and identity.
In conclusion, the Head of our state, once again expressing gratitude for the high award, congratulated the brotherly Turkmen people on the ongoing UN Conference and wished successful holding of the global summit in Ashgabat this December within the framework of the International year of peace and trust.
