President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan warmly congratulated the leader of our country on his birthday, sincerely wishing him strong health, well-being, and great success in his responsible state activities. He also conveyed congratulations and best wishes from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalid Al Nahyan.

Issues of further strengthening Uzbek-Emirati relations of friendship and strategic partnership, as well as the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the UAE in January of this year, were discussed.

The expansion of practical cooperation in priority areas was noted with satisfaction, primarily in the trade-economic, investment, innovation, and transport-communication sectors. The volume of mutual trade, the portfolio of joint investment projects, the number of joint ventures and the frequency of air flights are all growing. The importance of continuing close dialogue and thoroughly preparing for upcoming high-level meetings was emphasized.
