A telephone conversation was held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
In the beginning of the conversation the Head of our state warmly congratulated the leader and multinational people of Russia with the upcoming state holiday – Day of Russia.
Issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, as well as expanding multifaceted cooperation in the context of implementing agreements of high-level meetings, were considered.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of adopting coordinated measures with an aim to maintain the dynamics of mutual trade turnover and support cooperation projects.
The importance of continuing active exchange and practical cooperation at the level of regions of the two countries was underlined.
Deep satisfaction was expressed with the intensive cultural program of events regularly held in Uzbekistan and Russia.
