President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who has arrived in Ljubljana on an official visit to the Republic of Slovenia, was officially welcomed at Congress Square today.
The Head of our state was solemnly welcomed by the President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar. A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest. A military band played the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Slovenia.
The leaders of the two countries went around the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.
After the official ceremony, flowers were laid at the Memorial to the Victims of All Wars in “Zvezda” Park as a sign of respect for the memory of the fallen and commitment to the ideals of peace and humanism.
