At the invitation of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev together with his spouse arrived in Budapest on an official visit.
The leader of Uzbekistan was met by Minister of Economic Development of Hungary Marton Nagy and other officials at the airplane ramp.
At the Ferenc Liszt International Airport, the state flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.
According to the program of the visit, Uzbek-Hungarian high-level talks will be held on May 20.
The Head of our state will also hold meetings with officials and heads of leading Hungarian companies.
On May 21, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States scheduled to be held in the Hungarian capital.
