In a telephone conversation held on May 17, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, sincerely wishing him great success in his responsible state activity for the welfare and prosperity of the fraternal Kazakh people.
Topical issues of further developing and strengthening Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good-neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance were discussed.
The schedule of upcoming bilateral meetings and multilateral events was reviewed.
Particular attention was paid to continuing work on shaping a new agenda of bilateral practical cooperation, covering such priority areas as trade, industrial cooperation, efficient logistics, agriculture, tourism, education and cultural exchange.
