President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay official visits to Hungary and the Republic of Slovenia on May 19-22.

The Uzbek leader will arrive in Budapest on May 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.

The talks at the highest level, meetings with officials and heads of leading Hungarian companies will be held.

The agenda includes issues of further expansion of practical cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries.

On May 21, President of Uzbekistan will attend the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in the capital of Hungary.

On May 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will meet with President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar in Ljubljana, hold talks with the leadership of the Parliament and the Government of this country, participate in joint business events.

The issues of development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, implementation of cooperation projects in pharmaceuticals, industry, food and textile sectors, interaction in the field of labor migration and expansion of humanitarian contacts will be discussed.
