On April 10 President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a former Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, executive chairman of Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. 

Matters on developing a practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and this reputable structure were reviewed.

Tony Blair highly appreciated the progress and scope of the ongoing reforms on building the New Uzbekistan and expressed readiness to provide the necessary expert and advisory assistance in the framework of their further promotion.

Other key areas of cooperation were identified as measures aimed at attracting major strategic investors in the sectors of economy, technological modernization, acceleration of digitalization and introduction of artificial intelligence, implementation of joint programs and projects in priority areas.

It should be noted that the Institute, established by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2016, is an international non-profit organization. It assists various countries in developing new models of sustainable and innovative growth, combating climate change and other modern challenges.
