On April 5, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The heads of state discussed current issues on the bilateral and multilateral agendas.
Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of cooperation projects and programs in the areas of trade, economics, investment, and humanitarian affairs.
The schedule of upcoming high-level meetings was also reviewed.
An exchange of views on regional cooperation issues, including within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization also took place.
