On February 28, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by the deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.
In the beginning of the meeting the high guest passed to the Head of our state sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the country’s Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The issues of expanding mutually beneficial practical cooperation, including in the construction industry and territorial development, in the context of implementing the agreements reached during the Russian leader's state visit to Uzbekistan last May were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to building up full-scale cooperation in the construction sector. It is about participation of organizations and companies of the two countries in the design and construction of infrastructure facilities, supply of construction materials and equipment within the framework of ongoing programs on socio-economic development of territories.
The importance of further exchange of experience in the field of shared construction, design, expertise, digitalization and public procurement was emphasized.
