In continuation of the business program in Kuala Lumpur, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim jointly visited the headquarters of Petronas Corporation - Twin Towers building, and held a meeting with President of the company Muhammad Taufik.
Issues related to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with this global company, which is one of the leaders in the oil and gas industry, petrochemicals and renewable energy, were discussed.
The Head of our state supported prospective plans to implement projects in the sphere of deep processing of raw materials and “green” energy.
The priorities include exploration and development of promising hydrocarbon fields, introduction of advanced technologies for carbon dioxide capture and storage, training of highly qualified personnel at the Petronas University.
