On January 30, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the founder of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov.
During the meeting, issues related to implementing projects of the leading Russian oil and gas company in the energy sector of Uzbekistan’s economy were discussed. These include geological exploration and development of promising hydrocarbon deposits, modernization of infrastructure and development of a system of retail sales of petroleum products.
An exchange of views took place on plans to expand the company's activities in our country. Particular attention was paid to the issues of training and employment of specialists, implementation of socially significant programs.
