On November 21, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, who is currently on a working visit to our country.

The sides considered issues related to the development of bilateral relations of comprehensive strategic partnership in line with the agreements reached at the highest level.

Practical aspects of cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, extremism, cybercrimes, corruption and illegal migration, cooperation in the field of recovery of criminal assets, introduction of artificial intelligence and digitalization were discussed.

The need to establish a close dialogue, expand contacts and exchanges, and hold joint events between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries was emphasized.
