President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Chairman of the Institute for Global Change Tony Blair in Baku.
Prospects for further development of Uzbek-British relations were discussed, as well as issues of establishing practical partnership with the Institute for Global Change headed by Tony Blair.
The former prime minister highly appreciated the large-scale program of irreversible reforms implemented in New Uzbekistan and expressed interest in providing expert and advisory support in their fulfillment.
Development of transport corridors, access to new markets, introduction of international payment systems, enhancing the efficiency of investment policy and others have been identified as priority areas of interaction with the Institute.
It was agreed to hold additional meetings at the expert level of specialized agencies to identify specific areas of cooperation.
