On the margins of the UN Climate Change Conference COP29 in Baku, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has held a meeting with President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović.
Ways to establish mutually beneficial cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and tourism spheres were deliberated upon.
In order to develop the economic agenda, it was proposed to establish an Intergovernmental Commission and hold its first meeting along with a business forum next year in the city of Tashkent.
Additionally, framework agreements on trade and economic cooperation and investment protection will be prepared, and a roadmap for developing industrial cooperation in priority areas will be drafted.
The schedule of upcoming high-level meetings was also considered.
