Leaders of Uzbekistan and India review matters of expanding strategic partnership

In the framework of the visit’s program to the city of Kazan, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of programs and projects in the sphere of high technologies, AI, industry, energy, pharmaceuticals and transport communications. 

An agreement was reached on organising the next session of the Intergovernmental commission and business-forum this year, adopting a medium-term Program of industrial cooperation. 

It was proposed to organize Mutual Days of Culture and Cinema, joint events in the field of medicine, sports and youth, including youth parliamentary organizations.

The Leaders also discussed the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
