On September 26, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the People's Republic of China led by the member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legal Commission Chen Wenqing.

The head of the Chinese delegation Chen Wenqing conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to the Head of our State.

The issues of developing and strengthening Uzbek-Chinese relations of friendship and all-weather strategic partnership in the context of implementing the agreements at the highest level were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to expanding practical interaction and effective coordination in the fight against traditional and new challenges, as well as threats to security - terrorism, extremism, transnational crime, cybercrime, drug trafficking and others.

The results of the first meeting of the Uzbek-Chinese cooperation mechanism in the field of law enforcement and security, which was held these days, were highly appreciated.

The sides also exchanged views on the current regional agenda.
