As part of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the co-chairman of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "ACWA Power" Mohammad Abunayyan.

Issues regarding further expansion of practical cooperation with Saudi Arabian companies were discussed, including the progress of implementation of joint investment projects.

The Head of our State noted the successful partnership with "ACWA Power" in the implementation of large-scale projects, and the company's key role in attracting Saudi investments to our country.

An agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of joint projects in the development of energy, transport, information technology, healthcare, modernization of heating networks, water, agriculture and other areas.

Following the meeting, the trip to Samarkand has been completed and the President returned to Tashkent.
