On September 15-16, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz will pay an official visit to our country.

In accordance with the programme of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Samarkand, during which issues of further development of Uzbek-German multidimensional cooperation will be considered.

Special attention will be paid to the expansion of trade and economic, technological and investment-financial partnerships, deepening cooperation with leading German companies and banks, and continuing active collaboration in the field of labor migration, environment, education, health, culture, tourism and other directions. There will be an exchange of views on relevant aspects of regional cooperation.

The President of Uzbekistan and the Federal Chancellor of Germany will also hold a joint meeting with the business community of the two countries.
