President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, along with their spouses, attended a joint concert featuring artists from both countries.

The Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples share deep historical roots, a common religion, and similar cultures and traditions.

Thanks to the will and efforts of the heads of state, the two nations have grown even closer, elevating their bilateral relations to the level of an alliance.

Both in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, there is great respect and affection for the cultural achievements of each nation. By presidential decree, the legendary singers Farukh Zakirov and Polad Bulbuloglu were honored with the title of People’s Artists.

The joint concert was a testament to the centuries-old friendship and the close intertwining of the traditions and values of the Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples.

The performances showcased the richness, diversity, and uniqueness of our cultures through the songs and music of talented artists.
