On July 24, during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the issues of further deepening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance were discussed.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Russian leader warmly congratulated the Uzbek Leader on the occasion of his birthday, wishing him good health, prosperity and great success.

A particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of implementing the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 26-28 this year.
