On July 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Kyrgyz President congratulated the Uzbek Leader on his birthday and wished him a sound health, peace, prosperity and sustainable development of Uzbekistan.

Topical issues of further deepening and expansion of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of comprehensive strategic partnership were discussed.

The importance of timely and qualitative implementation of the package of agreements reached during the recent state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, including on the basis of the joint roadmap between the two countries, was considered.
