On July 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon discussed in a telephone conversation the issues of further development of Uzbek-Tajik relations of strategic partnership and alliance.

The Tajik Leader warmly congratulated the Head of our state on the occasion of his birthday, sincerely wished him sound health and happiness to his family, and peace and prosperity to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.

A particular attention was paid to the issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan on April 18-19 this year, especially in the trade, economic and investment spheres.
