The state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has come to an end.

During the two-day program of the visit, the two leaders held high-level talks and signed a Joint Statement on further deepening and expanding the relations of comprehensive strategic partnership.

A solid package of bilateral documents was adopted. Major joint projects in the spheres of energy, automotive and textile industries were launched.

The Leaders attended a joint concert of Uzbek and Kyrgyz masters of art.

The dialogue between the Heads of State continues today in Khiva. The Presidents got acquainted with the production facilities of the "Khiva Gilamlari" carpet factory and the exhibition of “Made in Uzbekistan” products.

The Leaders and their spouses also visited the historical and architectural gems of the ancient oasis city.

At the end of the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse escorted the President Sadyr Japarov and his spouse to the Urgench International Airport.

The Head of state then flew to Tashkent.
