Following the results of fruitful negotiations between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, a solid package of bilateral documents was adopted.
The Heads of State signed a Joint statement on the further deepening and expansion of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
During the state visit, 16 documents were signed, including:
- Intergovernmental Agreement on Resort and Recreation Facilities located in the territory of the Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Protocol on the amendment of the Intergovernmental Agreement on mutual travel by citizens;
- Protocol on the conclusion of bilateral negotiations for the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the World Trade Organization;
- Protocol on cooperation in the field of construction activities;
- Protocol on cooperation in the field of labor, employment and migration;
- Protocol on cooperation in the field of culture and the arts;
- Protocol on cooperation in the public service;
- Plan of activities to increase the volume of mutual trade for 2024-2030;
- Plan of practical measures for the development of cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport for 2024-2026;
- Road map for further development of cooperation in the field of agriculture and food supply for 2024-2026;
- Plan of activities for the development of cooperation between the cities of Tashkent and Bishkek for 2024-2026;
- Memorandum between the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and others.
