On July 18-19, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will pay a state visit to our country at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In accordance with the programme of the visit, high-level talks will be held to discuss issues of further development of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of comprehensive strategic partnership.

A particular attention will be paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade, strengthening business and regional cooperation, promoting joint projects in priority economic sectors, using opportunities in the transport and transit sphere, and activating cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

The Heads of State will also exchange views on topical aspects of international and regional policy and discuss issues of interaction within multilateral structures.

It is envisaged to launch a number of joint projects and to sign a package of bilateral documents.

It should be noted that a business forum, a rectors’ forum, Kyrgyz Cultural Days and other joint events will be held in Uzbekistan during these days.
