On July 3-4, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana to participate in the regular meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council and the “SCO Plus” meeting.

The agenda of the summit included topical issues of further development of multifaceted cooperation within the SCO and improvement of the organization’s activities. Issues of international and regional interaction will also be addressed.

Following the meeting, it is planned to adopt the Astana Declaration and a set of documents on expanding the partnership in the spheres of economy, security, ecology, energy, tourism and many other areas.

As part of the visit, the Leader of Uzbekistan will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations.
