On June 25, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev, who is in our country on a working visit.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Head of our state expressed condolences and words of support to the families and friends of law enforcement officers who passed away in the recent terrorist attack in Dagestan.

The issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level were discussed.

The sides discussed relevant aspects of further cooperation in combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and organized crime, as well as in the sphere of cyber security and digital expertise.

Special attention was paid to improving the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms in the area of migration.
