The Head of our State got acquainted with the presentation on the development of master plans of districts and cities.
This task was set at a video conference devoted to economic priorities, which was held on January 16 this year. The responsible persons provided information on the work done as well as the expected results of the master plans.
During this time, master plans were developed for 14 districts and cities. They provide for the construction of 759 apartment buildings, 22 shopping complexes and more than 800 service facilities.
In addition, it is planned to prepare a further 136 master plans based on driver directions in 112 districts.
For instance, 38 high-growth areas require adequate housing, social facilities and recreation parks.
In 20 areas with high tourist potential, it is possible to increase the flow of tourists by 2,5 times by increasing the number of hotels and the development of environmental, hunting, medical, sports and extreme tourism.
More than 400 motels, campsites, canteens, shops and car service facilities can be established in 68 areas along the main roads.
In general, thanks to the projects based on master plans, it is expected to create 40 thousand jobs, as well as annual budget revenues of 350 billion Uzbek soums.
The Head of our State stressed the need to accelerate the creation of convenient infrastructure, trade and entertainment places, as well as high-income jobs for the population.
The task was set to create a vertical system for developing and monitoring master plans.
