As part of the visit, a ceremony was held in Ankara to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “Order of the Republic of Türkiye”.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan solemnly presented the highest state award of the brotherly country to the leader of Uzbekistan.
- I am honored to receive such a high award from the Republic of Türkiye on the day of signing the Declaration on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between our countries.
This award is a symbol of thousands of years of fraternal ties between our peoples, trusting dialogue at the highest level, as well as the rapidly developing multidimensional bilateral relations, - said the Head of our state.
It should be noted that, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, this Supreme Order is awarded to statesmen who have made a great contribution to the development of friendly relations with Türkiye.
