At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim will pay an official visit to our country on May 17-19.

The program for the first day of the visit includes high-level events and negotiations in the city of Tashkent.

The agenda of the summit includes the development of systematic political dialogue, expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchanges, promotion of specific programs and cooperation projects in the fields of trade, innovation, energy, petrochemicals, industry, electrical engineering, electronics, agriculture and other economic sectors.

There will also be an exchange of views on current international issues.

The Head of the Malaysian Government will also visit the cities of Samarkand and Bukhara, where he will acquaint himself with the rich cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage of our people and participate in a joint business forum.
