On May 15, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman and CEO of the Coca‑Cola Company James Quincey. The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Anadolu Group” Company Tuncay Özilhan.

«Coca-Cola» is one of the largest soft drink companies in the world, whose activities cover the markets of more than 200 countries, including more than 200 brands and 950 manufacturing enterprises.

Exclusive partner of the company in Uzbekistan - «Coca Cola İçecek», is part of the Turkish «Anadolu Group». At present, there are 3 plants in our country, located in Tashkent, Urgench and Namangan regions.

During the meeting, the positive dynamics of cooperation in the food industry was noted, including the implementation of «green» solutions, energy and water-saving technologies. Today a new enterprise has been launched in Samarkand region. In 2025, a fifth plant will be put into operation in Namangan region.

The importance of developing innovation and research activities and training of engineers and specialists in the industry was emphasized. An agreement was reached to further expand the investment program and increase the range of products, production of materials and components.

The Head of our state gave instructions to adopt a separate «roadmap» for accelerated implementation of promising projects.
