Following the high-level negotiations, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed a Treaty on Allied Relations.

A ceremony for the exchange of bilateral documents was also held in the presence of the Heads of State.

In total, 28 documents were signed during the visit, covering practically all areas of multidimensional Uzbek-Tajik cooperation, including:

- Agreement on cooperation in the field of industry;

- Agreement on cooperation in the field of industrial property protection;

- Agreement on cooperation in the certification of scientific and academic personnel of higher qualification;

- Agreement on scientific cooperation between the Academies of Sciences;

- Protocols amending and supplementing the agreements on border checkpoints, international automobile and air communication;

- Protocol on cooperation in veterinary and food safety;

- Protocol on cooperation between agencies for the development of competition and the protection of consumer rights;

- “Roadmaps” for cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism, further development of cooperation in the agro-industrial complex;

- Agreements on cooperation and “roadmaps” for 2024-2026 between the regions of Andijan, Namangan, Syrdarya, Fergana, Khorezm and Sughd region, between Kashkadarya and Khatlon regions, and other document
