On April 18, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Tajikistan on a state visit at the invitation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

As previously reported, according to the programme of the visit to Dushanbe includes talks at the highest level, as well as a number of bilateral meetings and joint events.

Following the talks, it is planned to adopt a solid package of agreements aimed at strengthening and developing multifaceted cooperation in various spheres.
